Use a tiny cold steel drill bit and drill like 20 hold and punch it out carefully.....4 hours later

New here but have got some great info from the site over the past few years. I have a 2007 crew/short bed with about 94K showing. I did shopping this week. I bought one of the ebay bumpers and a x-bull 13K winch with synthetic rope. I wanted to get an arb bumper but…. Got a new bumper and winch for less. My neighbor is the Largest Naval base in the world. I don’t go off-road (yet) too many other things going on right now (did someone say squirrel). I wanted to change the bumper because the stock one has faded and hit a few times :D. The winch will help with other community events (HAM radio). I’ll try to post pics this weekend of the bumper and winch. I'll update when I make progress.

Ha!! I’m adding that same winch to my Bumper.

You’re probably gonna get your winch installed before me. Post pics when you do!!! Been coming up with ways to mount the control box.

I am going to add a few things to the bumper before mounting it. Or at least drill the holes. Has anyone added Fog lights in the bumper? What type? How about a front hitch receiver? I should get a good look at mine after I finishing taking the shipping stuff off of tomorrow. Pictures and comments about bumper and winch to be included.

I have a smitty 12k and the control box is mounted to the top of the winch. I didn't have to remove the bumper to add the winch, I just took out the grill and dropped it in

I have the same winch on my truck, has been great. First weekend I put it on I was camping for memorial day and some dude in a full size chevy was stuck in beach sand towing a small trailer and I winched him out, have used it a couple other times on the trail for myself and lets just say it has plenty of power for a Taco.

That looks Great. Did you have to take the bumper off? Where and how did you mount the control box? What lights do you have in the "driving/fog" light holes?
    Thanks for posting pic's!

I removed the bumper so I could notch the ac line. I placed the control box right next to the winch. It is accessible through the front of the bumper. The lights are just random Amazon leds.
You can kind of see it here.

I had to leave the front support completely off in order to use the clutch lever

Very Cool. I have to do the AC notch to mine and make adjustments for a front receiver under the winch. I'll have to check the VA requirements for the lights.

Has anyone found a suitable ROUND light for the fog light hole?
