I had Saison M and the sour IPA. I think it was called hopped smashed and dusted or something like that? Both were good

I love me a good saison and really starting to respect the sours. Been drinking more and more sours to get a good pallet on them and really liking them.

Sours are great. Really complex flavors to them sometimes.

And I think that’s why I like em. The major mix of flavor is so damn good

I really dig the process that goes into making them too. The science behind them is awesome, but I’m kind of a science nerd so there’s that.

Ya it's a weird one. You're trying to actually get the beer to be "infected" which I'm sure has a lot of science behind it

The bacterial science that goes into it is absolutely amazing. I can spend hours just reading about it. It’s such a small window of opportunity they have to hit in order to actually get the “sour” to taste great

Yeah I'll take a pass on the hot sauce with Corona. I had a chili beer one time... one time, that's all it takes.

I have some Old Speckled Hen waiting in the fridge to have this afternoon. :)

    Pretty much.

My brother and I do that when we get together. We go to this cool liquor store and get like 12 different beers in a pack-a-six to try and see how we like them.

    Starts off like this:
We each get one, pour in a glass try to pretend like were beer experts. It it's good we drink it.

Then it's time for a second one. Do the same thing.

Then a palate cleanser with Miller Lite.

Miller Lite goes quick so what the heck another one.

Then back to picking another microbrew.

Fastfarward. all 12 microbrews are gone on top of a 12 of Miller Lite.
We can't remember what any of the micros tasted like.. but they were all good apparently LOL
