I just cleaned her up and went to check my food plots on my hunting lease. One mud hole I couldn't get around.

I have a 4 inch lift now for about 3 years and it's not that bad. It does ride a bit stiff but nothing that will bother you. Only time I notice is on pavement going over rough areas. I haven't had any issues except getting proper alignment from the start. The higher you go the more the geometry changes. At 4 inches I needed new UCA's to get proper alignment.

Spacers that go on top of front coil over shocks do not preload the spring. Blocks on the back also do not preload the leaf spring. The ride would feel the same but truck lifted......

A common lift is Add-a-leafs and stiffer coils up front which do preload the coils and leafs and account for a lift and slightly stiffer ride. Check out places like toyteclifts for an idea of specific kits out there.... My TRD OR AC started out this way (OME 885s and AAL) and I used the stock bilsteins all the way round... I eventually bought new leaf spring packs (and Bilstein 5100s) when the stock leafs broke.

This^^^ I have a 2014 TRD Off Road and went with the top spacers and 2" blocks in the rear. It didn't change the ride at all, or at least not that you can tell. The TRD Off Road rides great in my opinion and I didn't want that to change. It didn't. It doesn't change the suspension geometry any differently than a set of 5100's with more spring preload.
Just remember, a one inch spacer up front will give you about 2" of lift because the strut is mounted about half way out on your LCA.
A mild spacer lift that goes on top of the strut will serve you fine.

I am saving for a full on Fox lift. In the meantime, I simply put on a leveling kit. My truck drives great, zero issues and I’m running 33” tires with zero rubbing!

How big of of a spacer did you go up front and in the rear?

Getting to start all over :)
I went full OME 3" on my lift. With LR UCAs. Still have a bit of positive camber but didn't effect fuel economy allot 18 mpg to 15 and it looks amazing. Rides is great. More detail of parts in my info.IMG_20171215_134252263_HDR.jpg

No problem with your alignment? I’m assuming you got one done afterwards. Looks like you’re running STT pros? 275/70/18?

Allignment was checked after install and was spot on. I can let go of the wheel and drives straight as an arrow.

    Cooper STT Pro’s 285/75/R16’s with Method NV’s.

I appreciate the specs man! Making me seal the deal on getting spacers for now until I myself can get my hands on a fox lift and some UCA’s! I’ll be lifting the rear by an inch as well though to keep some rake and one inch in the front to run 275/70/17 KO’s. I hate how the TRD Sport has too big of a brake caliper to run anything smaller than a 17 in wheel.

Yes! To me it seems funny that the Tacoma is running the same size wheel as this bitch!

Any chance you have photos of how this looks from the front of your truck, down the side? Looking to see how far they stick out...
