Truck question for you lair dwellers. The small square cover in the tailgate handle that would have otherwise housed the rearview camera has gone missing. I recently transported my girls new bedroom set and mattress sets with the tailgate open and it may have fallen out then. Anyway. I am in the search for this little bastard piece & cant find it anywere. Any of you guys know is it is sold by itself or where I could find it?

I have some smart wool base layer. My StretchDown is super warm! I will just be very reluctant to get out of the truck

Hmmm, lemme dig around a little bit.
If you're warm then you'll be fine! I bought some sweet ass socks and a new carhartt so hopefully I'll be nice and warm.

I like mine. But IMO, it’s overkill for 98% of what I need for the truck. Which is why I recently acquired the Dewalt 3/8” brushless which is lighter and more compact and easier to pack for the trail. The 1/2” is HEAVY and not very maneuverable in tight quarters while working on the truck.

    Size comparisons (all are brushless)

    1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”.

The 3/8” is actually more compact than the 1/4”

:muscleflexing: Just gives you a workout while using it. I don't think it's too terribly bad, although a bit unwieldy at times. I was using it the other day to remove U bolts on someone else's truck, and it couldn't break them free!! I was astounded. Ended up using a 2' breaker bar with a 4' jack handle slipped over that, with all my body weight on it, and then they came loose.

i already run a 3/8 air impact with the truck, saw this and was attracted to its price.

In my youth, I pumped gas in Alaska. An old timer told me to put plastic bags on my feet between socks and shoes. I used bread bags at first, lol.
Kept my feet toasty warm, and sometimes a little damp (but better than cold).
Sounds weird, but warm toes are warm toes.

I am over in the Minimalist Camping set up thread right now. I am still not understanding sleeping in the bed situation and how it could be remotely comfortable with another human.

Following @bski22 such pessimistic response of “no get over it” I am now looking at a rearview camera. I took the old backup camera universal set off my old Titan and will attempt to incorporate into my Taco. I found this nifty gadget on Amazon and was wondering if anyone has tried it?

Thanks for the motivation @bski22 !
