    Good morning everyone!

My shark fin antenna was ripped off by the garage door yesterday. Its a 2014 Tacoma with Navigation and Satellite Radio...

I can't seem to find anything online regarding how to replace or even a replacement... Any help would be appreciated!

Was it the fin or the entire antenna? My wife's Kia had it broken off in a car wash. I bought one of those "fake" fins and used a dremel on the bottom of it and epoxied it onto the base which was still there- good as new! Something like this one which was under $10. If it's damaged and not working, to replace it you'll most likely have to tear apart the interior and headliner to replace it. Most manufacturers have a connection above the headliner and the fin antenna plugs into it, so you should not have to run wiring all the way to the radio.

This is a pic of the actual Toyota part- this one has a broken bolt, but you get the idea....

yes the headliner needs to come off to get to it. Depending on the damage it could be repaired. You should check junkyard or ebay should be able to get it cheaper then OEM.

I would call Law enforcement if my "garage door" did that to my truck. Did the door just reach out and grab it?
Just kidding -- good luck with getting it fixed
