    Awesome CB setup, TRD leaf springs, matching camper shell...more to come some day.
    On my 06 four cylinder. Of course nobody carries jist the pulley w/bearing. They all just want to sell the assembly.

    I ordered the pulley with bearing for only 31 bucks.....toyota part at that...beats a Chinese made assembly for 150 bucks.

    Update...so just so folks know. The tensioner pulley is way easier to replace than the whole tensioner assembly. If you opt to replace the whole tensioner realize you have to remove the alternator first to do so...which is actually pretty simple on these 2.7L engines.

    If you opt to replace just the pulley which I did, you will save about 100 dollars then buying the tensioner assembly. The tensioner assembly most the parts stores are selling are made in China, I got a new pulley woth bearing installed for only 28 bucks from the local dealer...it is made in japan. Took less time as well as the pulley just unbolts with a single wrench.

    In Fact the hardest part that took the most time was routing on the new belt! I was fortunate that when the old belt broke that it did not break anything else in my engine bay.

    So this is the serpentine belt tensioner?

    How many miles?

    Any off road abuse as in fordings, etc.?

    Didn't you have some warning noises? Howling, squealing, etc.?

    Not bad price but you can get a Gates pulley that will do the job.

    Great post! Yes this was the pulley to the serpentine belt tensioner pulley. I did have some warning squeeks/howls for about 1000 miles prior. The problem for me was that it was intermittent, so every time I tried to identify which pulley was causing the issue it would go quiet on me.

    My vehicle is about 12 years old and has 150k miles on it. I have done some decent off roaring with my truck in it's times but never in water more than 3 feet deep.

    20171229_112809.jpg 20171230_114221.jpg So below are the pictures that show the original pulley with bearing (or rather what's left of it) when I took it off. I also included a pic of the replacement pulley that comes with the bearing (made in Japan)

    Remember that this is for the second gen 4cyl engine...i don't know if it works for the 6cyl...but I suppose it's possible.

    @kidthatsirish
    Thanks for the part #. If you press out that bearing and replace it, you'll have a good back up. Get me the the bearing size if you can - for my bearing thread. Did you replace the idler pulley while you were at it? It's # 16603-0P030 - same as for the V6 idler pulley #1.

    I thought about that but I if you see the other side I think it ate through the race pretty good.

    @kidthatsirish Yes, you may be able to press it out. A chisel can be used to remove the race if it stays in place. The pulley should be ok.
