I tried to edit my post but I think I was late. The one I posted is the one I talked to him about in pm. Also told me to not do anything to the tweeters and to just remove them. Going to keep bracket if I want to do something with them later

Edit: Tweeters sound better close to the woofer and give better imaging. Putting the tweeter high in the door may increase perceived volume but degrades the staging of the audio. Your factory head unit really does not have the power for seperate woofer and tweeter. (What @TaKoToy told me)

oh yeah that actually makes sense haha these speakers have tweeters on them anyways lol so just take the input and output wires off the original tweeter and splice them together then?

Have you guys tried Ariats? These will probably be my next work boots, as I have the non-steel toe version already.

well I was reading on crutchfield something along the lines of the tweeter works in conjunction with the woofer so if you remove or modify the tweeter that you have to remove the in and out and splice them together. so essentially you are sending the signal directly down to the speaker

So what you said before then, take it out and the wires that went to that now go together.
