Just check out some vids. The only place the plastidip won't peel away from is the center of the letter A. Most guys in the VIDEOS I've seen use a simple wooden toothpick to remove it from there. Tweezers are very cheap and an excellent suggestion.

The best part about plastidip is it's not 100% permanent and if you mess up, you just peel it off and try again.

As an option, I've seen covers for these badges but they are not cheap. Definitely not as cheap as plastidip. I believe you can find them on ebay.

I paid 1600 no discount. Without linex, it's like 1200.

Handled well this weekend on my trip. Good peace of mind, which was my biggest reason for purchasing.

I love the ruggedness. Price tag, not so much.

Thanks for all the input about dipping/painting the badges. Will watch some videos on it and see. I need to decide exactly what I want to do with everything.

Has anyone that got the Pro grill sold their stock grill? If so, how much is a reasonable amount to expect to get back for it?

I just ordered a TRD Pro grille. Gonna save my sport grille just because. I've seen them on e bay for as little as $75. I was thinking of painting my new Pro grille inferno, any thoughts ?

I'm tempted to paint or dip my stock OR grille, and also get a Pro. I'm really just not sure if there would be any point because I don't know if i would really ever swap my grills out just because. I don't know what option i would like best either.

I'm interested in a Pro grille with the Toyota letters painted Inferno. That's what I would want if and when I get one. But I don't know if those letters are removable?

Painted black, it looks similar to the 2018 grille.

I swapped out my OR grille for an SR grille. I still have the OR because I can’t hardly even give it away... nobody wants one.
