I got mine the other day, and they look great. Thanks to @dirt designs for the great product and @jamesepoop for organizing this little buy.

Now to see how long they sit before I get a brace built.

 

Anyone else looking into these? I'm in on the next batch...

 

I just bent and welded up my cross tube today. Wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it was gunna be. Paint is drying now. Pics to come

 

I didnt read through the thread but anyone do this with a supercharger?

 

We now have a jig for the engine crossovers. Im thinking of starting price at $150 for the welded crossover bar for standard 4.0L. It can fit with the engine cover, but the cover needs to be trimmed a little on the driver side. I havent shipped one yet so the shipping price is to be determined.



And we will be making a jig for the TRD supercharger version soon. Its heavier wall tubing and harder to make so price will be ~$250. Same deal with shipping, not price yet

 

Anything in the works for the 2TR or just use the 1GR bar?

 

@sytfu510 has one which is pictured above. I just built one for mine over the weekend. It is a little different but same concept as what @dirt designs has. I will post up a picture tonight of the bare metal piece and then when I get it coated as well.

 

Couple pictures of my cross member that fits with a supercharger and AFE cold air intake. I didn't have a die with a tight enough radius to fit around the supercharger on the driver side so I did joint and gusseted it on both sides. I also used 1.5" .120 wall sleeved inside of the 1.75" .120 wall on the straight areas to increase the strength as much as possible. Not as strong as a crossmember with more angle built into it but it is definitely better than nothing.

That’s pretty bad haha I’m curious if Jeremy installed his yet because if not and he wanted to sell I’d buy them off him.

 

I know guys near me that would buy someone’s if they never installed them. We’ve made crossovers here a few times.

 

Really I could probably get 5 people together to get another mini GB but I’m kinda lazy.

 

I haven't but not interested in selling it. @Darkgoatracer tried the same thing before he just contacted Dirt Designs and bought the brackets and crossover.

 

Yeah I guess I could just buy his. More than likely I’ll eitber end up doing nothing or just trying to make my own.

I am not opposed to it, however it is based off my truck, no guarantee that my coilbuckets or frame will be the exact same as yours. I believe @dirt designs has one now that he offers for trucks with the supercharger. He has a die all setup. May want to check with him first.

 

Are these still for sale? I'd like to get a diy kit.
