It’s an Alu Cab Explorer Canopy with an Alu Cab tent and awning.

I have been using the canopy for a couple months and LOVE it. Best shell on the market.

That was my first night with the awning and RTT combo and I’m a huge fan. It takes about 10 seconds to deploy the awning so it will definitely get used way more than my ARB

What brand bag and how did it go? I just picked up a Teton sports 0° bag and I’m gonna try it out tonight.

    Just the basics
    Which bag?
I've got two of their Celsius zero degree bags. I've used them for a few years now and I wouldn't want to be in just the bag at zero degrees. I've been eyeing the Leef zero bag.

Hi truck campers! Here's a question for the ground tent dwellers if there are any left. What is the best sleeping pad for tent/car camping? I have a Eureka with a built in pump, it's not easy to inflate and isn't very comfortable. Weight isn't a concern as I'll be hauling it to camp in the taco. I've been looking on the usual camping websites but a big, thick and consequently heavy pad seems to be a niche product. Everyone is either an ultralight backpacker and/or a hammock sleeper.
I actually have a hammock and my backpacking setup is dialed in but I take my bike into the backcountry and ride from camp for a couple days using my sight as base camp. After a long day getting beat up on the trails I'm looking for comfort.
    What do you folks think?

You will need to be more clear what you want it for.

While waiting you can look at Exped.

Paco Pads are well regarded where weight and size isn't a concern.

I keep 3 in my truck:

    1. A basic lower-most pad to protect inflatable pads from puncture:

    2. large, thick inflatable pad for truck/campground camping:

    3. smaller, thinner inflatable pad for backcountry trips:

That is an awfully confusing name for a bag...

I'm sure it is quite comfortable at one of the zero degrees...

    Same here

We’ve got a couple of the cheap foam ones and some nicer inflatable backpacking ones. Double up (foam and then inflatable on top) and they get quite comfortable, I lay mine out on the plywood platform I have in my truck and it’s comfy

I Usually only carry the inflatable backpacking but I usually bring one of those stadium seat (the pad with the straps that make it a chair) and I undo the straps and lay it out under my inflatable

But if we bring the big tent (6person) I just bring a full queen inflatabe

    Depends on where we’re camping

I use this pad. It's not cheap, but it's pretty damn comfortable. It's part foam and part inflatable. I've used it both on the plywood in the bed of my truck, and on the cold ground.

That Exped Megamat looks like the winner.
As far as what I want to use it for:

Make sense? I get to where I'm going to set up a base camp so to speak, then I spend a few days biking. When I get back to camp I want a nice comfy pad to get a good nights rest on, I'm usually pretty sore and occasionally bruised. The Exped is pricey but waking up without being sore is worth it!

    A little a this, a little a that...
I usually use a cot and my kids use the REI 3.5. If it's just me I use the REI pad on my cot and it's more comfy than my bed at home.
