I just ordered my dynolock a few days ago, I'm hoping it'll get here this weekend so I can do the install. Haven't looked at the wires yet but this thread should help.

Looks great. Just picked the exact same manual lock up that very minute. Can't wait to install it

If I tell you I'll have to kill you.
Well, after Jim at DynoLock sent me replacement lock I have a tailgate that locks. The pictures on this thread were helpful but the colors of the wires I had to use were guesses. Blue - black and Blue - red. I used only the long cable and threaded the whole length though the small hole at the bottom of the tailgate. I made a 1'' x 1-1/2'' rubber grommet for the oblong hole in the truck back. (you can see it with the tailgate half down). then I pulled the cable through a small hole in the grommet and into a 10 ft. wire wrap and snaked that on the passenger side of the Tacoma fixing it by black electricians' tape to existing wiring that kept it away from any exhaust heat. Under the passenger front rocker panel is a large rubber grommet that allowed me to get my cable up and into the wiring harness beside the front passenger seat. From there it was a bit of a challenge to cut into the harness and pick out the correct wires to attach into. Second try was a charm. Taped the cut into the harness and, Viola!! Say Hallelujah!! I have the small cable and about 5ft of the long cable left over. Took me toooooo long. Next time will be a breeze. Ron. Never again.
