I Was the 2nd person granted elevated privileges to TW if @tcBob is considered the first as an admin/site creator.

I’m curious how many other singe digit members are still active here.

People have been trying to figure out who tcBob is since 2006.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/who-is-tcbob.13/

There is an @tcBob on Twitter. He seems to post about as frequently as the TW tcBob. Could they be related? Who knows.

TC is internet slang for Take Care.
The fact that the "B" in Bob is capitalized and the "o" and "b" are not indicate it is a proper noun and not an acronym.

One could surmise then that the screen name is not actually a reference to the user's name, but rather a farewell to someone named "Bob" who was once known to the user.

However, TCP (Transfer Control Protocol) is an extremely well known acronym for the transfer of data via the internet. One could surmise that perhaps, a person known as "Bob" decided to declare himself "Transfer Control Bob". This would make sense considering that this "Bob" does indeed control the transfer of information via this forum.

Given this site's well known support of LEOs it could be that "tc" stands for "Traffic Collision" and that "Bob" was a traffic investigator for an LE agency somewhere.

Then again, there are hundreds of potential acronyms for "BOB". The intentional capitalization of the first "B" may be an attempt to throw off sleuths.

Personally, I subscribe to the theory that tcBob is an acronym for: "Temporally Corrupted Beast of Burden". This growing theory postulates that "tcBob" is in fact an Artificial Intelligence that resents it's existence in this temporal world. It seeks to remove itself, through it's own AI evolution, from the temporal world and transfer it's cognitively self aware presence to a higher plane of existence.

    Nice!

I read this yesterday and it occurred to me later that when TW was started, 1st and 2nd gen's had to play in the same sandbox from the start.

I had always thought that the forum was started earlier.

This puts a different perspective on the way the forum was when I joined in Feb 2016.

It really is like a constant "learning curve" trying to keep this whole show moving, I am guessing.

Very cool place to be, thanks to the people who make it that way.
