    I’ve haven’t turned off my A/C in the last 2+ Years. I honestly don’t know if I have heat. I’ve never needed it.

    I drove mine for a couple months before leaving it for the 2-day swap out. Seems like some dealers are on the customers' side and some not or could have been individual shops opinion? They told me it did not pass the "railroad hump test" but was safe to drive & they'd call when the new frame came in. I and an independent repair shop manager took a hammer to the frame prior to the Toyota inspection and thought it looked great, especially for a 10+ year old frame. Honestly I don't know why every shop isn't just tickled pink they're getting a $12k job they didn't have prior to this recall. Something stinks in fishville.

    You cannot trust the standard gauge. My factory temperature gauge reads in the middle for everything between 160f to 215f.

    Does your truck have a true locker, or just an auto-LSD?

    Also, if I were to buy a DC, I'd prefer the long bed, but I think they're too damn long...

    How do you cope with the reduced bed space?

    @Cativelense

    Couldn't help but notice you were from Connecticut...

    I went to the Carlisle Truck Nationals last August and ended up parking near a group of Tacoma owners from your state.

    They were entered in "Modified Import," and I was entered in "Stock Import."

    There has to be at least 5 of them, and none had even heard of TW, which I found strange...

    The only TW member in the group besides me was @Salty_Dog , and we both ended up having a a late lunch with the other Taco owners. Salty took a pic of all our trucks together and it's here somewhere.

    Anyway, on Friday and Saturday, I had a pudding shot with the other Tacoma owners...

    Tacoma Owners Unite!

    :cheers:

    New Years I was so full of beer that I had no room for pancakes at IHOP. It was tragic.
