That's what I use. Got them in 3 vehicles... even gave some for Christmas gifts this yr. Amazon had 4 pack for 6 bucks on a lightning deal.

The vent is pretty much locked in to this position.....it can be closed a bit....but no rotation and no more open.

I sat in my truck and sipped a cold one and contemplated the vent positioning. I'm perfectly okay with having 3 fully adjustable vents and one that is dialed in on my leg.

So far this is my favorite one.
I’ve used the “suction cup on window” and the “CD slot” mounts, and both worked fine. The CD ones were my favorite, as there is a large selection with regards to where the phone is positioned: above the slot as to not cover up a screen or vice versa, positioning it lower.

But this thing rocks. The simplicity is brilliant.
I thought I might have to use a small piece of 3M tape to keep it sercure, but so far I have not had to.
    Sorry for the crappy pics.

I have the 7 Plus, no issues with it moving around while driving. It fits snug on the trim. When you remove the phone you just have to get in the habit of pulling down, if you pull up you will pull the whole mount off. For the price it is worth it even just to try it out!

This looks nice, got any pictures with the phone off from the side? I like that it doesn't cover the air vent, they are much needed in the FL summers lol

    Here ya go.
I’m still cracking up on what a great idea this simple little gadget is. Of course it is made for a 3rd gen Taco only. It comes with a few different thin metal plates that attach to the phone. I didn’t even have to use an adhesive one. I just took off the outer hard shell of my Otterbox case, laid the metal plate in it, and popped it back on. Works fine.
And like Joe said, when removing the phone you just pull down on it.
