You can always try switching the bulbs from left to right to determine if it's a bulb or something else.

Chances are, it's a cheap led bulb that is going out. LEDs usually start flickering when they have an issue. I've seen it in some of the cheap Amazon bulbs in just a couple of days.

I've actually had really good luck with these, despite being really cheap and on Amazon.

I have not. I just checked and reseated the bulb the other day, same thing. Didn't wanna pull the other bulb and put it in to see as I had the hardest time getting that side to go in..can't fit my hand up there lol.

Just noticed the same issue a few days ago. Both LED plate lights blinking and/or going out for a while. I put them in about a year ago and never noticed a problem before.
I'm gonna throw in new bulbs if I can get my hand back up in there

Well, tomorrow will be take two at installing the VLED Micros as low beams. Driver’s side went in fine, passenger side the collar just feels like it’s freely spinning. Not sure if user error or one of my Micros is faulty (think the “adjustable indexing” might be working against me

Edit: Since I only have one bulb switched, I ran outside and got a quick look at the Micro vs. stock. Real happy with the 5k VLED Micros, they seem to perfectly match the DRLs and Rigid Industries fogs on the ‘18.

Update: so, both bulbs successfully installed. If anyone else has trouble with the VLED Micros, here’s what I figured out:
Problem: the collar (part that has the tabs that lock the light into place) spins freely and light will not lock.
Reason: The problem-LED collar was spinning due to the “adjustable indexing” feature. It was either faulty or poor design (or both), but it spun with barely any rearward pressure applied to the collar.
Solution: drop of dish soap on the O-ring, and then pushing forward on the collar and against the light. And trying to turn the collar itself not the light like most install videos show.

I’m happy with the output of the LEDs and VLED’s customer service (they were quick to respond with suggestions), but unhappy with how fiddly the lights/collars are. I could easily see the LEDs rotating and falling out of the housing just from normal driving. The LEDs spin with almost no effort, and in one of the positions the collar completely separates from the LED housing. I’m going to have to routinely check to make sure they are still in place.
I’m going to run these for a while to see if there are any durability issues before purchasing another VLED product.

Anyone else have this issue? Is this just a design quirk or are my lights faulty?

Seems odd that for how much these cost they wouldn't be perfect the first time outta the box. Am I missing something.

Other than the installation issues, the light output and cutoff looks great up close! How's the throw down the road?

Have you checked them to see if they are still seated correctly?

    Thanks.

They are still seated correctly, but still fiddly. Overall I’m happy with the purchase though.

Throw is great! I feel like I have a much cleaner/clearer picture of stuff in front of me just due to the difference in tone. I would say the throw is not as bright the further you get down the road, but it is evenly distributed, so it’s not that noticeable.

When using the AuxBeam light bar and CaliRaised brackets there is some customizing required for install.. PM me if you are going with the same setup for details.

How are the Auxbeams treating you? I'm running the Hikari's in my low beam now. The cutoff is excellent. Light output is somewhere between halogens and hid. Definite downgrade from my hid kit, but less nonsense.

No issues at all and I'm extremely happy with the light output. I can't complain especially for the price.

Not many micro sets have been reported here. No one has mentioned this. I have no VLEDS with this feature but the rest of the lights from them have been outstanding.

Is that last picture with the bumper and ditch lights on or off?

That's crazy bright if they are off!

I did the 6800k cool white. It’s a clean bright white color. I’ll post some pics tonight if you like.
