Westbound and Down: The LGAA planning thread

Yea same here. It goes by seniority at my job, and we submit for vacations Jan 1. I have a little flexibility, but only if someone on my shift doesn't already have that week off.

 

Good question. Need a week or 2 to nail down perfect dates.

Currently just trying to figure out my California trip for the end of March. Had it planned for March of 2017 but had back surgery instead (which fucked everything up) so going the last week of March this year to make up for it.

Once I finish planning CA and spend some time looking at wedding venues I can start looking more closely at this trip

 

The sooner the better for me. I'll do my best to make my vacation coordinate with the trip, but I'm at the mercy of seniority.

As of right now, I am out for 2018. Definitely in for 2019!

I dont want to feel rushed in preparation, and I feel like I am not ready now. But with 1.5 years, Ill definitely be ready.

It looks awesome. Even if we don't have a copy, the website lists a ton of trails and their difficulty level. @Lux cause I know you want to wheel the big 'ish.

I'm going to wait until 2019. Not that this matters for 2018 dates... I'm going to make a trek to Tennessee this August with a couple guys.

 

I figured 2019 was going to be the one to shoot for otherwise we would have some work to do to get a large group prepared for August!

We knew it was happening that's why we are going early. We didn't want to go when everyone was there. Plus no H's wife has work starting around Labor Day and we've got all week there not just a weekend.

Truck is still off the road, sorting out the CEL issue...can't really plan anything yet

 

What codes is it throwing?

 

Depends on the day haha, some days it's for sensors others it's for the cat

 

That sucks. Troubleshooting doesn't work well when there's nothing going on to troubleshoot!

 

Dude it's killing me...I've had a freakin winch sitting on the shop floor for over a month now and my plans with @Skell keep having to get pushed back since the truck can't pass inspection...

 

Good news! Got the truck back!

Bad news! CEL came back on 50 miles later!

So now it sits again until I sort out the catalytic converter issue(s)
