We are preparing for a work related relocation to NE Ohio in the next few months and I was was wondering how many of you run your good wheels all year long or if the consensus is to put the steelies one during the salty times.

I was going to hold off putting some rubber on the SCS wheels we have however I am beginning to think the stock Dunlop's need to go as their traction on anything other than dry pavement is questionable.

I run the stock wheels with winter tires, and summer rims with summer tires.

Alloys will hold up better than steelies.

I'd run real winter tires on alloys and tires for my use the rest of the year on my fancy wheels.

I wouldn't run Duflops on anything but Craigslist.
