You can put a trash can over them and run the trapped foot to the out side. Take the foot out and put a large rock on top of can. Get your unsuspecting buddy to do you a favor and get your trash can. Run like heck from your buddy.

Trying to decide if I wanna drop a couple hundred bucks to trap in a different state.

All my classes this semester are basically in the middle of the day, but I would only have check my sets every 4 days (probably do 3 because 4 doesn’t feel right).

Would be about 175 mile round trip, every trip.

I think a 220 conibear blind set right?
Or maybe a cubby baited with fish but I think you’d have to deal with coins on that one
I would like to do some trapping but my time and money supplies are already stretched thin lol
Wish I could just shoot them

the buck scored @182.. not sure if thatsWVA scoring system or boone & crockett.our nation forest is poor habitat old growth because they wont let them cut it.it was 6 1/2.est.big ones are there from lack of pressure because of reduced deer heard.

Finally got around to working on an old euro mount for my dad. Been sitting in the sun in the yard for about 5 years at his place. Stole it from him without his knowledge to finish it. It still had chunks of flesh on it. apparently lost my first before pic :anonymous:. after tons of soaking and cutting and pulling and yada yada... Did the antlers today with some coffee grounds and finished off with a clear coat. First time I've done the coffee and it worked great! Very similar color to some of my racks from the same area :bananadance:. Used Dunken Donuts med. roast cause it's what I had on hand. Still need to whiten the skull obviously. Have a friend making a nice backing board for it.

    tl;dr

Just wanted to post a pic of how the coffee stain worked out

    Thank you.

Just put fresh grounds in bowl with enough water to make a slurry or slightly wet paste and rubbed it on real good :anonymous:... Let it set in sun for a couple hours, then brushed off real good. Clear coat spray after to seal. I just watched a few YouTube videos and then went for it.
