Hey guys; I'm knew to the North West, im a Pennsylvanian who spent some time in San Diego before going to Pascagoula, MS and now work has me up in Everett, WA. im still in the process of moving all my stuff and hopefully i will be able to drive up mid February to my home where my wife is already. so questions i guess i should ask is any good trails/ vehicle camping spots within a few hours of Seattle area, any DIY garages where you can pay to work on your vehicle/any places that can assist on install of bumpers, winches, lighting, snorkels; you know that old chestnut and finally any groups that do meets/trail rides in the area looking for one more member?

hope to meet y'all eventually the area looks beautiful and i cant wait to explore the region and maybe do an Alaska trip.

 Welcome to TW and WA State!
I just moved back fairly recently from SoCal so I don't know all the local spots, but I know there's the Cascade NF just east of you... I think it's Hwy 2 up there by you?
Lots of snow this time of year, but THIS SITE HERE should give you some ideas on well known trails. Again with camping there's campgrounds or there's National Forest... not sure what you're more into

Relief got here, will update in a few

    Not much, yet.
Welcome to the NW! I just moved up here a few months ago myself. There's a pretty active community up here. I missed this month's meet, but @TexMeg89 does a pretty good job organizing them. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/january-2018-seattle-area-meet.526746/

I've been meaning to check this place out and possible rent a bay for a few hours to install my sliders and skid plates. Not sure if anyone else has used them on here but they seem decent. https://stewsgarage.com/
It seems that the going rate for helping a fellow TW member with an install is a six pack and pizza, so there's that too lol.

My co-worker has used this same one in Kirkland numerous times and has nothing but good things to say about it.

@Flash_Adalwolf I’m in Marysville as well. Let me know if you want to go exploring.
