Cheap Bumpers on eBay!!

the company offered me this front fog light kit when I bought the bumper last week.

Yeah, they mentioned when I talked to them that they had lights available.

Have you received your shipping info from your bumper order? I noticed those lights ship from Montana, all the guys I've spoken with are in California and the bumper on ebay lists that it ships from San Bernardino. I know that AllPro has locations in both places, I know AllPro acknowledged this post a long time ago but I haven't seen anything clarifying the relationship yet (I don't really care, I'm just curious).

 

they are not related companies from my research. however, I called and asked them to send me tracking info and they did. they are coming from California and i should get all 3 packages on Wednesday

 

I don't think they are related either, I am sure there is someone involved somewhere that is related to both though. Probably the manufacturer or something, I had an Apex bumper on my 4runner, it was installed at the facility in California but I know it was manufactured in Montana.

Who doesn't have a location in California anymore? All Pro currently has a job posted to hire a fabricator in California. I'm not interested in bringing the debate back, it doesn't matter to me who made it, All Pro's bumpers weren't manufactured in house anyway. I just wish these people sold an Aluminum version of the bumper like All Pro does!

Yeah the Bumper is heavy...I installed it with a winch at the same time by myself and it was ROUGH .

 

Installed mine without a winch by myself and it was difficult... I can only imagine with the winch installed!

Has any one cut off the stubby hoop? or even replaced it with a larger one? I would like to see if so

 

When I do get mine I thought about cutting it off and fabbing the headlight and middle hoops like the all-pro. Depending the measurements on the top of the outer fender wings of the bumper I think it'd look good and a bit more protection. Will require repainting of course but I'm game since it's a good deal in the first place
