Upgraded the factory JBL sub in my 2017 Sport

    Took out the rear seats and panel yesterday to swap in a Rockford Fosgate P3SD2-8 8" sub you can find on Amazon here:

    Really happy I spent the hour to do this. I used the Metra 72-9301 speaker connector so I didn't have to cut anything on the factory harness, just the ends off the connector to plug into the sub and only drilled 2 holes since i was only able to use 2 of the originals.

    The difference is night and day for bass heavy music, still a bit of distortion if I have the volume up really high and the factory 6x9s don't hit the way i'd like, but i'm surprised how well the JBL amp. Forgot to take pics since I was working in the dark last night, but if you hate the factory sub as much as I do in the JBL this might be worth looking into.
