How to: Remove Sway Bar 2012+

Interesting. I would guess the good folks at King have given you the needed clearance if you want to keep the sway bar. They seem to be pretty good at what they do.

 

I know this is an old post but I have almost the same set up as you and I still have my sway bar did you end up removing yours and if so you feel a benefit. I am running a 650lb coil BTW

 

I did remove them after I posted it. You would be fine with 650#. There is a little sway with 600s. But I don’t regret it at all.

 

Used this write up recently and it helped so much!

I will add that for folks like myself with noodle arms you can CAREFULLY use a jack to hold up the sway bar while you remove the brackets. This helps a lot so you don't accidentally slam the sway bar into the tow rods.
