Yes sir! You are right about that. I’m thinking if it wasn’t an issue with insurance and or DOT I’d use in wing bladder tanks like the ones in my 206! I think they were 15 gallons each! Aviation fuel approved! Lol.

 

I LOVE the idea of this. Now if only they were made for a 1st gen

 

If someone figures out how to mount this to a 3rd gen long bed let me know. Also if anyone has any leads on an extended range fuel cell for the long bed.

 

I'm with you brother. As hard as it is to find a fuel tank, and this one only fits in a SB. I'm POSSIBLY interested in a 40 Gal. external tank offered from Transfer Flow, Inc., but that thing is $1,500 shipped. That's a lot of mod money! And a lot of space taken!

 

$1500?!?! geez that's a front bumper! I think I'm going to stick with jerry cans for now.

 

Sub $900 plus shipping for an extended range fuel tank? A tank that is proven in some of the most extreme on the planet. This sounds like a good deal. Sign me up.

I'm just gonna leave this here. Transport Canada appoved for us guys north of the border. Note: these are double walled tanks, enabling the legal and safe transport of Flammable liquids e.g. gasoline 1203.

The bottom two options is the one I'm going to most likely get pretty soon. Nothing else really available. Even from transfer flow and other companies. There aren't that many double walled tanks out there.

We have been informed that the dual cab long box and access cab long box can accept the kit we offer for 2nd Gen and later Tacomas.

Wow, amazing work. I've been following the thread for some time now.

@Cruiser Brothers have you had anyone purchase a tank from Canada or have your ever imported one there? Would be super interested in one if is possible.

Either way, great work to all and I look forward in seeing some review/install posts!

 

We have not shipped tanks to Canada, but we do have customers for other lines NOB (North of Border). Where are you located? The most efficient method is to ship to a freight terminal near the border for pick up, or to a forwarder for import and freight North.

 

I live in Alberta, I think the closest freight hub would be sweetgrass, Montana.
