Yes sir! You are right about that. I’m thinking if it wasn’t an issue with insurance and or DOT I’d use in wing bladder tanks like the ones in my 206! I think they were 15 gallons each! Aviation fuel approved! Lol.

If someone figures out how to mount this to a 3rd gen long bed let me know. Also if anyone has any leads on an extended range fuel cell for the long bed.

I'm with you brother. As hard as it is to find a fuel tank, and this one only fits in a SB. I'm POSSIBLY interested in a 40 Gal. external tank offered from Transfer Flow, Inc., but that thing is $1,500 shipped. That's a lot of mod money! And a lot of space taken!

Sub $900 plus shipping for an extended range fuel tank? A tank that is proven in some of the most extreme on the planet. This sounds like a good deal. Sign me up.

Now, just need a few more NorCal folks to help with shipping costs...

I'm just gonna leave this here. Transport Canada appoved for us guys north of the border. Note: these are double walled tanks, enabling the legal and safe transport of Flammable liquids e.g. gasoline 1203.

The bottom two options is the one I'm going to most likely get pretty soon. Nothing else really available. Even from transfer flow and other companies. There aren't that many double walled tanks out there.

    Hello guys -
I am the co-owner of Cruiser Brothers and importer/distributor for Long Range Automotive in North America.` We have worked with LRA - importing existing tank kits and developing new ones to suit North American emission systems. At my partner's shop we have sold and installed LRAs for over ten years. Our working relationship with LRA started last year when I met with LRA owner Roger Beimers in Melbourne and we began the process of building a working partnership to offer the full range of LRA tanks in North America.

We have been informed that the dual cab long box and access cab long box can accept the kit we offer for 2nd Gen and later Tacomas.

The simple story is that we are importing and selling LRA tanks today on a direct basis at retail to owners and through authorized dealers and installing shops. Our website is under construction and we will have the kits listed within the next few weeks and in the meantime, are accepting orders through this link: https://www.cruiserbrothers.com/request-a-quote/ Just tell us who you are, what you want and we will contact you regarding invoicing, shipment times, etc. We have offered to acknowledge James's efforts at putting together a group buy, so please mention your affiliation when you register.

Retail on the Tacoma tank kit is $1,495 on a pre-order basis. With $300 deposit you will be guaranteed a tank on our next stock order arriving by container in June. We will offer $200 off on such preorders for orders placed and deposits paid by April 1. We are unable to sell to or ship to California purchasers.

We are running a business, not a group buy. As importer, Cruiser Brothers is the manufacturer of record for this product in USA, with the legal and regulatory responsibilities that come with that role. Please be patient and let us provide the community with quality parts and support. We want to get you what you need the right way.

Please see the attached product tear sheet and this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dx19C6OxEA

Any questions, please email to info@cruiserbrothers.com. Tanks are on the way.

    Thank you,

    Ward Harris

Wow, amazing work. I've been following the thread for some time now.

@Cruiser Brothers have you had anyone purchase a tank from Canada or have your ever imported one there? Would be super interested in one if is possible.

Either way, great work to all and I look forward in seeing some review/install posts!

We have not shipped tanks to Canada, but we do have customers for other lines NOB (North of Border). Where are you located? The most efficient method is to ship to a freight terminal near the border for pick up, or to a forwarder for import and freight North.

I live in Alberta, I think the closest freight hub would be sweetgrass, Montana.
