    I'm stumped.

Where is everyone keeping their fuel filler nozzles? I want to keep mine dry, but in the cab means gas smell. In the bed means no gas smell, but no real good way of keeping it dry.

Bah. No cap for me. Do you have issues with gas smell in the cap?

Bed cap makes the bed do outside things but inside. Smells will never bother you in the cab.. One of the reasons I love it. I get more smoke orders from camping near the fire cooking off the tailgate than I do fuel smells cuz my fuel rotos and jerrys have the fill novel in each can. But either way I can air out the bed with windows open or shut everything if it rains, never smelling anything in the cab.

I have these I keep inside the cans and work with my jerrys as well..

I picked up a heavy duty plastic bag somewhere and wrapped up the nozzle in that. Then I stuffed that in a box I keep tools & crap in. It's not a air tight seal but I haven't smelled anything in my cap for the past year I've stored it that way.

wouldn't just a 1 gallon ziploc bag work?

That would be the best idea, but my non-CA compliant NATO locking spout is way bigger than that. If I could find a big enough one, that would be the trick, so long as the gasoline won't eat through the bag.

I was doing things that way, still have the magic siphon in my small bed storage box . Always seemed to get gas on my hands, though.

You can get the ziploc freezer bags in bigger sizes.

Ditto here. I keep my siphon in ziplock bag, which goes into my recovery bag. The Vinyl tubing doesn't retain gas smell (compared to other shit) for some reason. :D

    A little a this, a little a that...
I made a holder out of pvc and plumbing supplies. When I've just used it and it has gas on it I leave it in the bed and it's sealed up enough to stay clean. When it's dry I store it in the cab and no smell.

    Mostly stuff I built.
I have been using a magic siphon for years. After I fill up from a jerry can I make sure the hose is drained well and let it air out for 15-20 min. Then chunk it in a gallon freezer bag and store it. I use that 15-20 min to check my oil, tire pressure, suspension and so on. Doing it that way keeps the smell down. If I don’t have time to let it air out I will tie it to my bed rack with a GearTie and roll on. Then I just put it up on my next stop.

It's ok. I'm lost in it too...
I'm not an over lander... I'm a wheeler. Never had an RTT before. Typical for me is throwing the load from the bed under the truck and sleeping in the bed... or in a ground tent... or in the back seat lol.

I guess old habits die hard. Even with an RTT... i want versatility. Once i get it all worked out I'll post some pics and proclaim that there was a method to my madness. No flat screens or Kurigs. o_O

That trailer matches my truck better. For the sake of color continuity, you should give it to me.

So far, so good. For towable and offroadable this one is ok with a 4" lift on it, but there's tradeoffs as everybody knows. It's a good base of operations.

Did that 4" come on it or was that something you did? I wish someone would get with the program and biult a small travel travel with an angled rear quarter panel for good departure angles. It's a thing in other countries, just not here.
