Installed SOS Concepts Streamline Winch bumper today. Had to remove my bumper light to make room for winch so relocating that behind grille. Also installed a flipster v2 license plate mount that swivels up to pull out winch line. Love them both.

Gotta be a Prinsu! Haha. Well worth it man, hope you get it with all pieces you paid for. I got in on one of the last GBs for it before they went to CBI and my turnaround wasn’t too bad at the time, 6-7 weeks I think? It sounds like, from posts on their sub forum, the turnaround has really tightened up.

I subbed BTW, surprised I haven’t seen this thread yet! I usually just check my “watched” stuff and forget to browse this sub forum for new builds. Def gotta see where this goes though, Silver Sky bros! :fistbump: You’ve got lots of progress in a short time

    Sweet whip!

I read that you have a full spare under the bed, how easy or hard was it to get a full size spare under there?

It is a Prinsu. Estimated ship date was just under 4 weeks which is great. Their thread seems like they have been doing good on the ship times but some still have missing pieces. Now i have to read all the posts to find install tips

I pickup the wheel and tire tomorrow from the shop and ill let you know exactly what i had to do. Cost was 375$ so may not of been worth it bit i did it so if i get a flat i can throw spare on and not worry about anything until i find tome to get it repaired or replaced which could be days if im working. From what ive read 3rd gen the 285’s fit no modifying to tire carrier tabs. I do plan on cutting the exhaust after the second axle so the exhaust is not close to it. I may also go to a nearby exhaust shop to see if they can just move it. Either way ill update this with what happens

Just ordered a new switch plate that will replace the one on my ceiling next to locker switch. This will allow two more switch blanks. I will now have 6 added oem switches inside the cab which should be enough for what i need. Plan to prewire them all into engine bay at one time so wires are all cleaned up at once and easy to just add switch in future.

Truck is rad ! I'm about to order up that bumper as well. So do you cut the black nose off the bumper or is it a separate piece that comes off?

How was it to instal? And did it take 8 weeks to get it.? Sorry for all the questions, but your timing is perfect.

I'm thinking I might use some tube bar mounts to mount LEDs to the bumpers cross bar.

First off the company is awesome so definitly use them. The install is so dam easy man its ridiculous. Hardest part was removing the bumper. Yes took 8 weeks but i did a group buy with sliders and skid so maybe you will be faster?

If you want an led id just get the cutout in the bumper and do it. Im a little disapointed i did not. the hidden bumper light i had wont fit with a winch and it will be hard to get a light under hoop to mount exterior due to bumpers angles. Im putting my light behind the grille then a 40” on prinsu then my ditch lights. I just dont like look of exterior mounted bumper lights.

    To install:

    1)Remove grille.
    2)Remove entire bumper
    3) Remove crash bar (no longer used)
    4) Remove factory tow hook (no longer fits)
    5) Turn bumper over and look at it from the inside. The black part simply unclips exactly like a grille replacement.
    6) you will see the molding where the black bumper fit against. Cut that area out using a dremmel or razor blade. Took 2 minutes. Very simple.
    7) place rubber door trim onto bumper to cover cuts imperfections and to fill gap between steal bumper and oem bumper when mounted.
    8) install a coolent bracket supplied
    9) install oem bumper
    10) install new steal bumper onto crash bar
    11) install grille
    12) stand by for daily compliments

Took 2 hours no issues at all. Take time taking bumper off i did break a flare clip. If you have any questions pm me when ready to install and ill shoot you my # to answer any questions.
