Curious as to what part will address the ice buildup.

I have a 2017 TRD Sport and live just outside Chicago. We've had a lot of snow recently, combined with sunny weather, and outside temps ranging from single digits to the 30's. After our last heavy snow, the truck was parked in a parking lot all day where it was in the sun, but the temps dropped throughout the day. I had an ice build-up on both side, right where the bottom of the front doors meets the front fenders, and the door frame. Not a great picture, but this is what it looked like. I called the dealer and mentioned this TSB. I have an appointment Saturday for them to take a look.
As a side note, I went from a 2010 Nissan Frontier SE Crew cab to my Tacoma. Absolutely no comparison between the 2. The Tacoma is fantastic. Really enjoying it so far.

At least they're going to check installation of the driver's side floor mat. That's worth the price of admission right there! But no inspection of the passenger mat? Rip off!
