I have a smoker and a Santa Maria pit BBQ but sometimes you just want something quick but you still want that smoked flavor. This does not do what hours of smoking will but in 5 to 10 minutes it still does a great job.

Get yourself a smoking gun, a crembrole torch (If you don't have one get one, great for many uses), some wood chips and a large container.

Cook the meat first, oven, stovetop whatever way you have then place it in the container, cover it and get ready. place the woodchips in the bowl, flip on the fan and light it up.

In 5 to 10 minutes you food will taste much better.

A couple thing I have made this week.

I like this a lot and ordered more fine wood chips. This is my list so far.
Alder, Apple, Cherry, Hickory, Maple, Mesquite, Oak, Red Oak, Burbon Oak

Pretty cool device! My version is a soup can with a hole poked in the side of it towards the bottom. I stick an electric soldering iron through the hole, then drop wood chips in the soup can and, voila, smoke without the fire. I've only used it for cold smoking, so I haven't done anything to fill a bowl like you have. I like the idea and the food looks great!
