    Well good luck with the e-brake cables. I've go to do something with mine as well. If your cables are long enough I would just tap the holes then.

    Well there in lies the other part of the conundrum, with the b110 shocks and the flex range of the leafs I think it is better to leave them not connected to the leaf pack so as not to strain/break the cable. I have a manual so the e-brake becomes necessary some times. I'll figure something out with them, just wanted to see if anyone else ran in to a similar situation. The leaf pack itself is great so far. Rides nice, handles the weight of the cap well and performs well the little bit I've been able to use them. Just installed them over the weekend.

    Received my 96 pack last week. Damn these thing really take a beating during shipping. I'm not too concerned about the paint, but one of the retainers and bolt were bent upon delivery. Is this something I should be concerned about?20171115_083055.jpg 20171115_084213.jpg

    Yea, they really do take a beating getting to you. If this was mine I would bend the tab on the retainer back straight and replace the bolt.

    I know this is an older post but if you haven't sourced your parts yet, the OEM Toyota bushings will work with the Dakars. I know first hand...just make sure you have a BFH and use a block of wood to soften the blow. Also squeak free -knock wood- after 12000km

    PM me if you want a Canadian vendor that is somewhat close so you'll save on the exchange rate (ouch) and shipping (triple ouch)

    Thanks for the reply. I actually just finished installing them along with some fox 2.0 resi's. I ended up just getting all new bushings anyway. I went with T-dot Performance as they were the only retailers i could find that had everything. Their prices were a bit high on a few things but i called them and voiced my concerns and they actually cut me a pretty good deal on the parts. Pretty impressed with the customer service actually.

    What a difference everything makes on the rough ice packed roads here! I have a DCLB and went with the EL095R's. I've currently got a full size spare, Nfab spare carrier, and about 160lbs of winter weight (roughly 275lbs total) in the box. The leafs sit just about flat with all that weight but still have a good 4" of up travel before hitting the bump stops. I gained about an inch of lift over the stock TSB leafs with toytec AAL.

    Hi Marie, I'm hoping to get a little feedback or info. I have a stock height 2017 TRD OR DCLB with a canopy and truck vault in the bed and I'm looking at what you might recommend for a set of leaf springs to get me back to the factory height in the rear, but with the support for the additional 500lbs that will always be back there. I will occasionally have a roof box with skis and such on top of the canopy that will add an additional 150 lbs or so. I'm hesitant to consider the heavy duty Dakar pack just because I really don't want the truck being significantly higher in the rear and I really would rather not have to make changes to the drive shaft/carrier bearing. Any input would be much appreciated!

    I know you asked Marie, but here's my input since I asked Marie similar questions. Go with the LD pack first since the HD pack is meant for higher constant loads. You can always add the AAL to "make" it an HD pack later if you need to.

    Okay, backstory. Friday I bought King 2.5 RR front and rear, with this leaf pack, el096r, and timbren ubolt flip bump stop kit. I installed the suspension Friday went off-road Saturday and fully flexed out with rear tires coming off the ground.

    Stock brake lines. My brake lines never get too tight, tighter than factory, but I highly doubt I'll replace them. However the e-brake cable seems pretty stinking tight just sitting on concrete.

    Suggestions?

    Is there any solutions to the squeak that I have not heard of? Mine have gotten so bad that if you so much as shift your weight sitting in the truck it squeaks. I cant take it anylonger and am looking for alternative spring packs unless I can find a cure.

    Mine were the same, driving me nuts. I hit them with a pressure washer and sprayed regular Liquid Wrench in there. After driving a few miles, squeak was gone. Not sure if it was washer or Liquid Wrench that did it. Now to fix that front end clunk... :/

    I'm writing this just to give a big shout out to Marie from @HeadStrong Off-Road for answering several of my questions. I just ordered the Dakar EL096R with 5160's and 6112's for the front after flooding her with some PMs.

    Marie mainly helped me in trying to determine where I should order the EL096R or the EL095R due to me having a constant load of approximately 300lbs. Ultimately, Marie educated me on the fact that they can be converted to one another with ease, only needing to either to remove a leaf (EL096R) or add a leaf (EL095R). With the 095R leaf pack costing $521.99 (USD) and the 096R leaf pack costing $561.99 (USD), I decided to go with the 096R because adding a leaf later will cost $72.99 if I decide I need it later. Essentially, I'll be saving around $30! Anything to save a buck!
