I was originally looking into the 'R', but the last one had been sold, the next shipment wouldn't have arrived until mid this year, and the 'F' was just sitting there all pretty and eye fucking me. There were a couple of YZs and one WR450F, but the WR250F seemed like the best choice for my first bike.

edit: I had been planning to sell my truck, but wanted a toy to make up for the depression that would've come with letting her go.

sounds like you made the right decision. Id like to see how it treats you.

I have mostly paved roads near me. Closes "trails" are 1h+ away. I have had 10 bikes in the past 7 years. All over the place with types. Im just trying out every kind to see what I like. :D

Current bikes (and for sale) 2014 Yamaha FZ-09 and 2017 Kawasaki Z125

I've only taken her off road once, but on an easier trail. I'll be more comfortable with her sooner than I thought. Been 95% road time for me so far.

I ordered the Tusk Enduro Light Kit through Rocky Mountain ATV over the weekend. Their site was giving me some trouble with shipping here to Guam upon checkout even thought it was listed as a destination. I called them direct and was able to make it work. They had awesome customer service. I'd buy from them again.

One of the last pictures I took of them together before selling the truck.

Don't know what your laws are over there in Guam. But when your ready the wr can be turned into a fx so easily. Becomes an entirely different bike. The exhaust baffle is huge on that thing to limit noise.

Pm me if you want to know more.

Edit: found another photo of mine.

Airbox wash cap? Don't spray directly into the intake above the shrouds and you wont have anything to worry about. Muffler plug is a must when washing.

    Nice bike :bikewheelie2:

Thanks for the info, dudes. I figured it wouldn't hurt to just have one on hand, especially since nobody sells them locally.

Shoot me over a pm! Short of a few things, I modded and rode the hell out of that thing. Even rode Motos on that bike probably 1-2 times a week.

I got some good ride time in with a couple of experienced riders. Today was the hardest I've pushed the bike. The suspension on this is like riding on clouds, so fucking smooth. ♡

Tusk Enduro Light Kit is in. I'll probably get to it this weekend.

Got the light kit installed tonight with the help of my neighbor. Officially street legal.
