Dude, i love those SCS wheels on MGM! What size are they? I'm sure there isn't a huge difference but i keep going back and forth on if I should get 16's or 17's.

 

What size tires u gonna run?

I went 17s to keep with the intended stock 17s they way Toyota designed the sport. I am glad I did.

On 285s it's a great balance great amount of wheel to Tire ratio. I love some big tread and tire so almost went 16s on them but glad I stuck with 17s.

 

I just got 265/75/16 KO2's a few months ago but one of my coworkers is good friends with a Discount Tire manager so switching them out for 17's wouldn't be an issue. If I go with 17's I would most likely go with 275/70/17 KO2's. Interesting that you went with the bronze. I always go against the grain and was eyeballing these wheels in that color but couldn't find a good image in the internet until i saw yours. that color looks great on the MGM!

Finally got around to swapping parts and taking pics, I was not a huge fan of the color at first but she's growing on me.

Thanks! I love them ! so light is crazy, If you do go the SCS way make sure to tell the tire shop to be super carful, my local shop scuffed up the bore.

Well, I am now back in a Tacoma. Had a 2016 Limited in black when the 3rd Gens first came out and just did not like it. Felt like I was driving a luxury CAR and not a truck. Plus it had some issues that this Tacoma doesn't seem to have. So I traded it for an F150 and while it was a great truck, I've always looked longingly at every Tacoma that I saw on the road. SO, today I just traded my 2017 F150 for a lightly used 2017 Tacoma DCOR in Magnetic Grey. I'm already calling it the best truck I've ever owned! It had a few mods. Front windows tinted to match rears, a windshield brow, a bull bar on the front and Magnum step bars. I immediately removed the bull bar and side steps. Just not the look I'm goin for. If anyone wants them, I live in Southern Illinois, about 60 miles straight east of St Louis. I want $125 for the bull bar which sells for about $200 online and I want $200 for the cab steps which sell for $395 online. OR I'd trade for a matching topper or maybe even a tonneau cover.

 

How did you change trucks that many times, don't you get hit with all kinds of penalties?

Finally getting around to posting my Tacoma Progress. First picture is stock. Second picture is Lund Sidesteps and Hard Tri Fold Bed Cover. Third pictures is 2.5 inch spacers front, 2 inch block rear, 265/70/18 Nittos on helo -12 back spacing.

 

LOL, yeah I did not really think it thru but ended up jumping out the passenger side, it was a short hop to hard ground.

 

Just got it regeared so now all that's left is a rear bumper.

 

My luck, I would have landed on my arse making it that much worse !

I didn’t think I would like the F5’s but now that I see them on a MGM taco they are growing on me. You go with 16’s or 17’s? What size are your tires?

 

I got the 16 4.50"BS on stock tires (P265/70R16?) It was all by luck I was trolling craigslists and found a fellow member selling them. I originally wanted the bronze but I am really happy with how gunmetal turned out.
