The new Bolt On Rock Sliders for the 2014-2018 4Runner from 4x Innovations
are now available! This 100% bolt on system is the best we've ever offered, with lots of engineering going into achieving the maximum strength from the mounting system. Built from 1/4" high strength steel, this mounting system is nothing like anything applied to the 5th gen 4Runners to date. The mounts wrap the front and back of the transmission crossmember as well as under and the inside of the frame rail to spread the loading as much as possible. There is a total of 43 bolts between the two sides holding the sliders to the frame. Of course we can talk about how strong this mounting system is all day, but it doesn't really matter until you see it for yourself. So we took a 2017 4Runner, with 2200 miles on the clock and drop tested it! Check out the result here:

Also here is a tour video to show more details of how the slider is mounted.

Great strength in the mounts doesn't matter if the slider isn't up to the task, so we offer these great sliders in a minimum of all 1.75 x 11ga DOM round tube, OR go with the 2" x 1/8 wall square main tube with 1.5 x 3/16 square tube legs that are mounted on the diamond for maximum strength. The legs for both types are supported by oversized 1/4" gussets as well. Both the round tube and square tube sliders feature a 2" kickout at the back of the slider to help protect your rear quarter panels. An added benefit is the kickout makes a slightly larger step for accessing your roof rack. All materials are manufactured in the USA from USA steel. We will always build these sliders in our own facility, to our exacting standards, right here in Wisconsin! MADE IN THE USA!

Have a lifted 4Runner and/or a roof rack? No problem! Add a set of step plates, which feature extra grip traction aids built in. Our step plates bolt to the slider via welded nuts, meaning there are no holes in the slider tubes to let water into the tubes. This means your sliders won't rust from the inside out like other versions available.

These sliders are available for the 2014-2018 4Runner SR5, Trail, Offroad and TRD Pro models, they do not fit the Limited. The 4x Innovations Bolt On Rock sliders are compatible with the KDSS system. Sliders are sold as a pair, including a driver side and passenger side slider, all grade 8 and metric 10.9 mounting hardware that is required for installation. Sliders are shipped bare steel so you can paint them via the method and color of your choosing.

The 05-18 Tacoma version is still in development. I don't have an exact time frame for when they will be available, but I'm hoping for spring time. We don't be doing bolt on sliders for the 95-04 Tacoma.
