Colorado B.S. Thread

That forum blows, especially for me. 2500 Power Wagon is a 6.4L gas engine. Everyone on that forum in the 2500 section has a diesel and all they talk about is modding the damn diesel. Almost useless for me. One thread was useful, about patching the software that runs the touch-world and even that is moot now since they went to over the air updates.

 

1st gens rule. Loved me my 1st gen. Every time I see a clean one on the road I droll a little. It's just tough to deal with paying 10K+ for a vehicle that at its newest is 14 years old now, or risk getting a fixer-upper with a bad frame. Guy down the street from me has a mint 2003 Access Cab that I would love to get my hands on, but the bastard knows what he has and isn't willing to sell.

 

I have AC, power everything, cruise, ADD, no ABS, nice seat (with questionable heater), amplified stereo and sub which I can't hear because the interior is so damn loud, etc.

Still not as comfortable as a newer truck.

That being said, there's a reason I decided to keep it after a long debate on getting a 2nd gen.

 

I dare you.

 

Have you tried sound deadening? I haven't done much except the little bit I put in the dash, but I've heard it can make a huge difference. I'm plenty comfy in mine... but then again, I have not ridden in/driven a newer Tacoma.

 

That's first on the list for this spring.
