I was thinking of swapping the allen heads out for security bits along with a security bolt/nut to the bracket. Sucks but atleast it'll slow them down or deterred the would be thieves.

 

While I find that idea to be humorous, I can only imagine it's a lawsuit wanting to happen. Criminals have more rights than their victims it seems these days. Especially in commiefornia.

I have a 2015 the ebrake in on the floor. There is a cubby there where your ebrake is!

Yes! I noticed the stick! Must be the difference. I want a stick but the wife can’t drive one and refuses to learn so i have to stick (pun intended)with the auto for when i tie one one! Lol

 

Yeah Toyota uses the T-handle for the manuals which takes away that coin cubby instead of the ones the autos have so you don't accidentally slam the (foot) parking brake looking for the clutch with your left foot.

All third gens have a traditional between the seats hand lever though.

 

I think my 08 manual had the ebrake like you do! I liked it better gave me more foot room

 

What lights did you put in your bumper (marked light location) can you get more pictures?

 

I can get some pictures tomorrow when I am back at the shop. They are “eyeyourlife” mini bars from Amazon. Then just put some extended bolts from the ARB mounting pins to get them to sit where I wanted.

Pardon the birds nest and the mess, that’s what I’m trying to fix. It looks worse in person. If I ask something on TTE on Facebook I get smart ass comments so I stick to my A1 Tacoma world guys for the serious stuff. What’s the best way to fix this? I know aftermarket fuse box is probably the way to go but what else is there to do, could someone show me what they have done? Thanks y’all
