Yeah, no prob. The highest you're "supposed" to go is 400ft high, which still makes the ground look small at that height. I've been on top of a mountain and go up further and been around 800-900ft from the valley then flown it around a couple thousand feet away from me. Still not even close to a mile away and it has been pretty far away from me. I really don't see it flying 3miles accurately away from you since it loses and regains signal at a distance but like I said you'll probably never need it anyway.

Just for a reference, this first photo is about 400ft high while the second is around 250ish

Furthest I've ever taken my Mavic is just over a mile. I was out in Joshua Tree so it was relatively flat and I just followed a trail so if it went down, I'd be able to find it relatively easily. I don't have the desire to ever really do that again though. I've lost visual connection about 3/4 mile away and that was scary enough, luckily I was able to hit the RTH on the remote and got it home safely.
How much :anonymous: probably not though lol

I'm trying to talk myself into/out of buying the Panisonic Lumix g85 4K mirrorless camera. Into because I can use it to make money for what I film, out of because its another $899 to get it home.

I use/want the Phantom more than I do the camera. I just picked up the new GoPro Hero 6, the Lumix would just be used for filming weddings/bands etc. for a little side $

Ya I got a Nikon D7200 so I could get back in to photography, but also do some filming with it as well since I'm trying to get more in to video editing. Now I need to get a stabilizer for the Nikon so I can take video with it

So just found this thread from @uhplifted

My experience is some what novice level with drone flying, but i have a decent amount of camera knowledge.
This is a stitched photo of the school across from my house. Had to stitch inorder to be in compliance with the 400ft rule. It also increased it to a 60MP photo!

    Jordan School Panorama Square small.jpg

is there any way to post video clips on here or do i have to upload it to youtube?

I bought a Eachine Wizard X220s a month or so ago to get into FPV. Haven’t even put it together yet since I still need goggles...

I’m planning on grabbing those same ones too to hold me over until some FatSharks came up on a steal. Did you see the new FatSharks Recon goggles?

I did not sure what the deal is with those. The fatsharks transformers are comparable quality to the eachines already. With the recons being $40 cheaper I wonder what the difference is. Not too many details.

I have a feeling Aomway is going to release a budget goggle soon to that'll be a real goggle and not a box headset for a much lower price. Keep an eye out for that too.

    Nice build man!

I don't really know anyone around me to fly with, but I have the Dave Windestol TriCopter, and the FliteTest Gremlin. I fly the Gremlin FPV and have had tons of fun with that...

Looking to get a QAV210 or the like in a little bit

I fly a stingy as a 6" setup. Been flying miniquads for almost a year now.

Nope. Just a chameleon. Figured I'd stay with a classic since everyone and their mother is hopping on a rooster these days. Nothing wrong with that though.

I've got this, a backup frame, a broke down skitzo that sucked, an micro beta65s and a whooped inductrix . The 65s is one of my favorites. Has me wanting to build a 3" because of how much fun it is in the woods.
