YETI - international customers - eligible for warrantee

Just a heads up for those of us not in the continental USA. I received a Tundra 75 for Christmas and went online to register for warrantee and my complimentary gift. There is no way to do this for anyone but US customers. I have sent an email to YETI and I am awaiting my next reply. As of now I don’t have a concrete answer as to whether I actually have their 5 year warrantee or IF I will receive the complimentary gift. My first reply from YETI sidestepped a number of my initial questions.

This is a premium product that carries a premium price. Eligibility for warrantee or lack of eligibility is a MAJOR deciding factor when purchasing a product his expensive. I will keep this thread updated in my initial post as I receive replies from YETI.

So after going back and forth with Yeti international customers are warranted the same as US customers. Their website will only allow USA customers to register online. Apparently you can contact them direct and they will put you on “the list” like I did. I did finally receive my free bottle key (opener).

I would STRONGLY suggest you keep all receipts and your registration card in your personal files as a backup. I am not sure if it was the wording that was used in our emails back and forth or what but I am not 100% confident that being on the “list” will be if any value if you need warrantee. They seem pretty bullet proof so I can’t see any future issues but when a Tundra 75 is over $600CDN and change after taxes shipping etc this is one warrantee I want to make sure is registered. This WILL be my last cooler I ever purchase which is why I can justify the insane value. Tired of replacing them every 5 years.
