    These D-rings are BEEFY. Much higher quality than I was expecting. Can't wait to install. Got these from @gunny1005 (Camelback).

    Dodge sprinter D rings are even beefier and cheaper 5 bucks a piece. Thats what i have on my middle and front bed bolts.

    That stated those would be nice in a spot where there isnt already a proper holding bolt.

    Yep I saw the Dodge rings in another thread. I didn't want to tie into the bed bolts. It opens up potential for corrosion/rust (that's simply my opinion, don't care to argue here).

    The weak link in installing somewhere other than the bed bolts will most certainly be the composite material itself.

    In that regard, I liked the OEM option better, as it comes with a sizable backing plate (with welded nut) and is engineered to maintain full rotation. The backing plate on the OEM rings will be plenty for whatever I need to tie down.
