I’ve searched, is there a decal for the hood scoop on our runners? I am getting killer glare, I really like the ones for the Tacoma pros. Anybody know if it will fit, or if there is one someone makes that I can buy?

I've been looking into getting the scoop wrapped to get rid of the glare. Having a hard time finding a lot of info!

The glare off of these hoodscoops can be downright dangerous. I am looking into getting mine done in vinyl at a local shop.

Have you already talked to the shop? I haven't called around yet, but I wasn't sure if I need to order something and then take it to someone? or would they just have everything there. Totally clueless.

I did talk to a shop in my area, they have the vinyl that I want in stock (flat black) so can do it as soon as I get on their schedule. Price was $150-200 depending on how far down the hood I decide to go.

Hey - that's not bad! Do you have an idea of what you want to do?

Ya, I think I am going to follow the lines in the hood starting at the top, and go about 3/4 of the way down. Looking at pictures, that looks best in my opinion.

Saw this on a 4Runner while out wheeling. I like it but I think I would black out the the whole scoop instead of leaving that part white. Just not sure if I would bring the vinyl all the way down or not. His did look sharp though.

That does look good, but I'm with you, black out the actual scoop and stop before the front of the hood.

I'm trying to recall - It seems like he said he didn't do that inner part because it would be difficult to keep it smooth with the angles - but the way I see it...if i'm paying you and this is what you do for a living...you need to just figure it out and make it happen.

Is it wrong that Al Jolson was the first thing that came to mind...

Feeling the pain tho, 16 Taco Sport, driving into the sun at about 35 degrees above horizon...brutal.

Hmmm, I don’t know. I’ll have to do some research.
