First time posting on Tacoma World! Enjoying my new 2017 TRD Pro for about 6 weeks now...

Researching the Extang Solid Fold 2.0....looking for a hard fold tonneau cover that can be easily removed from the bed. Saw there were some issues with the panels being damaged from heat and sun exposure.

Anyone have good or bad experiences with this cover in hot climates?

Also, any recommendations for other hard fold tonneau covers that can be easily removed?
The hard fold seems the best to keep cargo secure...

I installed a solid fold 2.0 last summer. No warpage so far. I do have a problem with a small leak on the right side toward the cab, but I expect to fix it with some weather stripping when it warms up a little. I like the cover in general.
