Yuba Pass 49 area snow?

    Some friends from Nevada City invited me to go camping this coming weekend in the Yuba Pass/Sierra City area on 49. Been there lately to give a snow report? They mentioned two spots, one close to the pass top, the other down lower, but above Sierra City. Will post some pics when i get back if no one has info to offer. Thinking the higher one will be closed and too much snow. We all backpack over snow or cold conditions. Pups should love it. I have snow still at just below 4,000'.
