Named Bo for the wide & low, grey & black, beastmode 90's Raiders vibe. We're some outdoor fools and he can get the fam around with the quads, to the camping/fishing spots, or we can throw the shell on and hit the mountains with ski gear in tow. Still, I don't claim to be a REAL offroader. You're more likely to catch this truck at the little league fields than jumping boulders and I have no shame in Bo's pavement princess blood. We own it with confidence.

I do landscaping for a living so the rig has paid its dues hauling brush, limbs, and gear by day. Still gets a wash + vacuum every Friday after a week of working in red dirt country.

Full disclosure, I made this build page so I can keep up with everything but feel free to give me a shout with any questions or how-to tips. Happy to help! I go for the mean & clean, de-chrome & de-sticker, full blackout mods for looks and add-on gear for functionality at work & on weekends. Enjoy!

Just curious, how did you get the injection key fob for $25?

 

Sorry, I don't have one. It's in the "maybe" section. I've seen them custom made by guys on here and on Amazon in bulk. All ranging from $25-$50. This was a while back though. If they are no longer out there for $25 I apologize but I'd search around. Like I said, maybe by Father's Day and the prices will drop haha.

Thank you. I keep hoping I am going to find someone who has found a way to get rid of the chrome handles on the limited. It is driving me crazy, but I don't think plasti dip will work because how much it gets touched.
I am going to pick those up too.

 

Interior door handles? I just bought some on eBay for $23 each. Fingers crossed they fit. Coming from China

 

No, I am looking for the outside ones. It is about the only chrome I have left.

 

Ah I gotcha. The eliminating chrome game can take over your life. I should be down to only the headlights before too long

 

I'm in the same boat with the limited handles. Thinking about taping and giving plasti dip a try since it is not the whole handle.

 

I bought the handles I posted a link to. For $40, I am willing to test them out. Worst case I return them and try plasti dip. I don't really want to dip the handles though
