I'd like to lift my daily driver. I've read enough to know that I don't want to go with Fox, Icon, or Kings. I want something that is relatively maintenance free that will lift the truck and offer some better performance hopefully improving the ride while at it.

My truck is a 2016, SR5, DCSB with a shell and probably another 150lbs in the back at all times. I also hunt and go camping with the truck. I want a little more clearance for protection of the underside of the truck. Also, I'm worried that with the recent weight addition in the back, that loading the truck up will be a little much for doing some offroad. A little more weight capacity would be good. I'm thinking about the following:

2" lift to keep stock UCAs, Eventually going to go with 255/85-R16s for tires.
Bilstein shocks, but not sure that the extra performance of the 6112/5160 is really worth the cost for me.
Probably OME springs up front (whatever spring matches with "no additional weight).
Either Dakars (Med or Heavy???) or Head Strong AAL in the rear.

Now, this truck is a DD (with about 300lbs in the back at all times) and will get wheeled some, but nothing too harsh as I don't really want to tear the truck up, just want to go see some stuff that I haven't seen and the clearance is for added protection.

    Anyone got some input?

It’s essentially non-adjustable 6112s and 5160s for ~$600. Several 3rd gen owners have already installed the kit and are getting ~1.5” of lift up front. Add a 1/4” spacer and you’ve got the 2” lift you’re looking for at ~$650.

You’d still need something (AAL/leaf pack replacement/blocks) in the rear for lift.

    Just an option.
