Nope. Bugs aren't supposed to be playing in the middle of the road.

Yea, I get it especially bad, since some of the roads I travel are along farmlands, and the rest is all forest... and at night... bugs are freaking everywhere.

I noticed that during and after washing my Super White, I have bugs humpin the shit out of my truck. I can't figure out if they are fatally attracted to the white, love my carwash, or love the smell of the Zymol wax. I'm gonna start pimpin my Tacoma out to bugs......basterds

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
No, they like black, like my truck. Birds too.

I've been wondering about question 1 since the weather started warming up. First I noticed a few flies and bees that seemed to love buzzing around my truck more than other cars in the parking lots. Then I met up w/ several other Tacoma owners this past weekend at one of the guy's farm, and my truck was getting swarmed w/ bugs while everyone else (including someone w/ a white 1st gen) barely had any on theirs.

I can understand the bugs' appreciation of a beautiful truck, but geez, look don't touch!

If he gets a bike, at least you'll be able to tell whether he's happy or not by looking at his teeth.

    That would be "Insect-i-cide".

I just want to know...why did the bug cross the road?

On a serious note, I remember a story years ago about some stuff you could spray on the front of your vehicle before a long trip so that the bugs would just rinse off. Not sure if that stuff is still around?

Lots of wax helps on the painted surfaces and rain-x works wonders making sure they come right off when you wash the glass.

Not sure what keeps the bugs away but I do know when I have bug build up on the glass or bumper. I just wash then foloow with the Turtle Wax ice Clay Kit

    That stuff is amazing!

I have same problem. My drive to work is 25 miles of backroads through horse farms and pastures so you can imagine how many bugs are stuck to my front end.

I towed a car down to Dothan, AL about a month ago from here in Atlanta. That drive is about 2.5 hours of backroads through rural AL once you get off the interstate. My windshield and front end was covered in bugs. I had to wash and re-wash the front end a few times to get them all off.
