Just googled it. Not sure who told me that but he is not dead.

 

That's him standing next to me on Jan. 3, 2017 (last week)! He has had many other projects besides Toyota, but most are about off road racing. My stepson has been to his racecar garage and met with him often... since my stepson worked for Ivan's son's off road racing shop 'Stewart's Raceworks'.

Hey OP, Here’s a photo of I took of my buddies in our most recent trip to San Boja in November... I love Baja ...Spent two weeks this past year in Bahia de Los Angles with some buddies.epic place

That is the furthest north Spanish/ Baja California Stone Mission Church. The mission was founded in 1762. The first buildings were adobe (you saw those ruins behind the newer church). Construction on the cut stone church ended in 1801. The location was abandoned by the missionaries about 1818.
