    Well I've have been inspired by a few people here on TW and can't take the wait or the price tag so I pulled the trigger and going to build an aluminum popupcamper. I will be posting updates and pictures throughout the process.

    Camper #2 5/1/18
    -Roughly 400lbs
    -Outside dimension 108"x63"
    -100w Renogy Solar w/ 100AH NorthStar
    -Camco Olympian Wave 3 Heater
    -Fan-Tastic 3 speed with Thermostat
    -Modular roof rack 80/20
    -Roof will support 100lbs +
    -10 gallon fresh water tank with outside locking dish
    -Shurflo 45psi water pump
    -Dual sliding locking windows with screens
    -Closed height 82" Open height 139" (will vary depending on suspension)
    -Dual locking rear latch T handle keyed alike
    -Exterior ladders on passenger and driver side
    -2x Dual Led interior lights with high/low on/off
    -Roof is insulated with 1" thick Rmax and removable headliner. Aluminum sheeting with EPDM free Superflex membrane fully sealed on top.
    -58x104" 2 Panel moveable sleeping platform. High pressure plywood with rivet and glued aluminum sheeting.
    -2" high density foam with removable fabric
    -3 panel window on driverside and passenger Heavy duty screen material/ 20oz clear vinyl/ 18oz privacy vinyl with heavy duty Velcro.
    -Main tent material 18oz Vinyl coated polyester waterproof/scratch resistance/ all stitching is sealed with waterproof HH66
    -Main tent is held in with Kedar Rail & Cord Bottom - Top Velcro and snaps/rivets
    -All doors and seams are sealed with 3m weather stripping single bulb/ shell to bed seal Truck Capper Seal XL triple bulb seal
    -2x single row 8" led , 2x work pods led mounted on roof rack

    -Roughly 350 lbs
    -Outside dimension 96"x63"
    -Closed height 83" Open height 139" (will vary depending on suspension)
    -Dual locking rear latch T handle keyed alike
    -2x 15"x30" Mirage sliding/locking side windows with sliding and removable screen
    -Roof will support 70lbs when popped up
    -Roof vent by Ventline powered exhaust fan
    -2x Dual Led interior lights with high/low on/off
    -58x91" 3 Panel moveable sleeping platform. High pressure plywood with aluminum sheeting on top for easy cleaning when cooking inside.
    -2" high density foam with removable fabric
    -Main tent material 18oz Vinyl coated polyester waterproof/scratch resistance/ all stitching is sealed with waterproof HH66(Material is Fully removable Velcro and snaps)
    -3 panel window on driverside and passenger Heavy duty screen material/ 20oz clear vinyl/ 18oz privacy vinyl with heavy duty Velcro.
    -Roof is insulated with 1" thick Rmax and removable headliner. Aluminum sheeting with EPDM free Superflex membrane fully sealed on top.
    -2x Lockable canopy latches
    -LED 3rd brake light
    -All doors and seams are sealed with 3m weather stripping/ shell to bed seal Truck Capper Seal dual bulb seal

    I plan on making this one and selling it so I can make myself one and not cost me much money. My dad is also on the list he wants one for his 2017 Taco 6' bed. I'll take it out on a few weekend trips before letting it go.

    Day 3 2/11-Slow progress today riveting sleeping platform and cutting aluminum sheeting. Also got the back door welded up and riveted. Windows,vinyl and roofing liner are supposed to get in on tues.
