Anyone buy from this company before? Seems awfully cheap.

Getting to start all over :)
Seems like it's just for the mounting brackets.

Edit: sorry I'm an idiot... Need to read more

If it's that cheap and from eBay, it is probably going to &$*# a brick in less than a year.

honestly, i dont know why so many people say the Amazon/ebay lights will shit out in less than a year. i had a 50" light bar that i bought off amazon for roughly same amount. worked great for over 2 years. all i did was pull the lens off the front and put silicone to ensure it was a good seal on it. used it tons of times over the 2 years. no issues at all. only reason i got rid of it was because i changed my build plan. also ran 2 led pods from amazon for ditch lights for over 2 years. same thing with the silicone. sadly they got stolen a few weeks back, thank god i didnt pay a few hundred on name brand lights (didnt hurt the wallet as bad when they got stolen). the lights i have used have done the same job as the big name brand ones

Does it sit on the oem roof rack?
Also for the people that have roof led bar, any loud noise? Because with only turning the oem roof rack bars horizontally I get awful wind noise.

yeah, i have seen a couple trucks locally that have the same style mounting brackets. from what i saw, it mounts to the inside of the front part of the stock roof rack.
as far as noise, there is definitely a noticeable amount of noise. that was the biggest drawback i noticed with my light bar when mounted above windshield. nothing a little more volume on the music couldnt handle though

I honestly would have to verify if a roof rack is required for installation. Regardless, I am just starting my endeavors on my Tacoma and I honestly just on a tight budget.

the mounts secure to the inside of the rack. Rough Country sells the same style mount. In my opinion, they are an awesome bracket. Doesnt require you to drill into the cab or anything, just some simple hardware straight into your stock rack (if you have one, if not, im sure there are some for sale around the forums for pretty cheap, or a scrap yard)

heres the video of the brackets and where they mount
