I've been on this website long enough to see all the amazing places these vehicles can take us. That being said most of what I myself have come across has been are threads and trip reports of 4x4 Taco's and there's nothing wrong with that.

If something like this already exists, my apologies. I'm just looking for places I can take my truck (2WD DCSB Prerunner Sport) to log some dirt miles.

Open to recommendations of whatever and wherever trails you guys and gals have successfully made in a 2WD

    Thanks!

    Too many to list
Check your local blm land. Should have some prerunner friendly trails. That's my plan for this summer.

Deserts, mountains, and beaches. Take your pick. Mojave trail, death valley, Johnson valley, anza Borrego, octillio. All are good places to run, but long drives if you are in the northern part of CA. A long drive for most of us anyway.

Yeah I've definitely been wanting to hit up at least one of those places. I'm in the central part of CA but still a bit of a drive. Mostly all the "off roading" I do is at the dunes in Pismo. Mainly cruise up and down and then just kick back in chair, start a little bon fire and have some brews.

I have to travel at least 1.5 hours to get to any dirt, that's just for local. Most of who I go out with all live closer to those points and they drive 1.5 hours so I get a 6 hour travel time plus the trail. Makes for a really long day. Camping for one or two just seems like I am packing, setting up and driving to a location rather than having fun. :(
