I can't believe that whole situation. I would blow up his thread and use your channel to show how shitty they were. He should refund or fix them for what they cost, especially when it's the result of terrible craftsmanship.

Said that stuff is amazing for sealing stuff.

 

Yeah i would Defintely question that no refund crap and show how he treats his customers who get a shitty product and no customer assistance, shipping or refund. Just because he makes awesome lights doesn’t mean he gets a pass on the bad ones. That’s when you see a person true character and business practice when they make a mistake and own up to and refund or fix no charge. If he doesn’t like it then don’t put yourself out there and charge so much. It’s a simple fix in my book and he isn’t showing me he deserves my business.

 

It is especially for something like that. I was Actually thinking of flex sealing the inner walls of my shell to insulate and waterproof with the grey cus that fiberglass white is lame.

 

He said he doesn't do refunds which is complete BS. I can't do anything through Paypal since it's been more than 180 days. He offered to reseal them but that's just a huge PITA. I'll be doing a completely honest review of the aquariums soon.

 

Funny thing was he said they were probably installed incorrectly (like not attaching one of the side bulbs) and that's why they are having the water issue. Lol @DOUBLLD installed them and I think he's more than qualified.

 

I'll check that out if the silicone treatment doesn't work.

 

Hopefully the silicone will work but if it doesn’t I’m buying decent sized quantity so I should have some excess if you want to give it a try.
