So, as the title states, I’m having issues with my key fobs. Everything was working as normal when I got to work that morning, and when I left work. When I got home, I got out and closed my door....then no response from the lock button on the key fob. I tried it several times with no response. Opened the door back up, locked the doors with the inside lock button with no issue. Decided to try the unlock button on the key fob and it worked just fine. Doors now unlocked. So I tried the lock button again and still nothing. I tried out the alarm button just for shits and giggles and found out it was unresponsive as well. At first I thought, “No big deal. Battery must be losing its juice. I’ll just swap the key fob off my spare set.” So I did just that. And then realized it was having the same exact issue as the original key fob. Will unlock doors. Will not lock or sound alarm. So it must be an issue within the truck itself, right? I figured maybe a loose ground connection? I’m not great with electrical stuff. If anyone has had a similar issue and could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, everyone.
