I love living here. I don’t want to leave. If I had all the monies, I would still stay in this great state.

I love this state, as well. I've been around the world, and this place is one of the most beautiful places on earth. I just feel the people in charge of running it, are running into the ground, and turning it into a third world shithole. Additionally, I won't be able to afford to stay once I retire. I'm 4th generation Californian, born in SF. Raised in Pacific Grove and Sacramento. I can't afford to live here anymore. It's insane.

It sucks being priced out of a great place. Some call it progress. Some call it regress. All must own the fact that its driven by capitalism. Keep up or the undertow gets ya. Im sorry you feel its turning into a third world shithole. I like to think its becoming more equitable for all. Sometimes that means I have to work harder just to stay afloat. So be it. Ill float and hopefully I can just keep swimming...

It’s most assuredly not capitalism that is forcing me out, or what California lawmakers are promoting. It’s socialism.

On a lighter note, is anyone wheeling on Sunday. Saturday I am going to Pacific Grove to take an Aunt and cousin out to lunch.

Also available for TW Express on Saturday if anyone has anything between Bay Area and Monterey Bay Area.

I might head up to Indian Valley reservoir this weekend. Nothing major as far as wheeling goes but there are some fun hill climbs up the ridge getting to the res. Just hoping to get out into the forest and enjoy the views

Ive been rocking a hand-me-down coleman camp stove for years now. That things even worked in sub zero temps melting ice for us to drink. If i had to buy new, well then maybe i'd invest in something "more fancy".

Then again, nothing beats cooking over the fire.
