Anyone put on 'Leaf Spring Helpers'?

    Did you just add one leaf? Did it lift the back? I’m not looking for a lift (already have 1” block). Just want to stabilize it with something more OEM looking.

    It will lift about 1.5” with slightly added payload. In my opinion, I’d remove the lift block and install the add a leaf instead. Lift blocks contribute to more axle wrap, but there’s no garuntee you’ll feel a difference.

    I am currently running the leaf clamp mod to fight axle wrap. It has worked pretty good so far for about 6 months. I added a 1” leveling kit for the front and then it was slightly higher than the back so then i added the 1” block to the back to level it back out. Looks really good and I basically have zero axle wrap with the clamp. The back is a little tighter with the clamp but springs are basically flat. Would love to have a little arch with out adding more height.

    Not much on mods - Leer 180, TRD wheels, Mobtown sliders, rear hitch, helper springs on the rear
    I never wrote anything about air bags in my post. The video was made by someone else

    I posted the video to show what a set of Hellwig 981 helpers look like installed. The shows a 1st Gen Tundra - because there was no videos posted on Youtube which showed a set of Hellwig helpers on a Tacoma.
